Being a Humanist..not communalist

In India, still a majority of proportion is busy in earning his/her bread and butter.
They hardly have any time to think, as which religion they belong to.

It’ has been in my notice that these days on Facebook, there have an exponential increase of certain activities which create an atmosphere of hatred and antagonism.

If any particular religion has got some defect or their disciples are misled, can hatred for them, help to make the situation any better?

Should we make India as Pakistan?  As a matter of fact Pakistan is a classical example, as how a country whose philosophy and policies are religion centric with a blend of antagonism and disregard for other religion, can never peruse as a nation and eventually become a hub of terrorist and unsocial element.
Our social fabric is woven with different religion. Here we have a space and respect for every religion.

If one’s approach is religiously uncompromised or extreme, one is dealing with the odds associated to it, oneself.

We are seeing the war waged among the different sects of same religion in the other part of the globe where religious sentiment is a dominating and deciding factor.

There is a massacre, mayhem and migration which accounts for extensive proportion of their population where such stiff religious mentality is in existence and practice.

If we too become extremist, inhuman and barbaric towards other religion, maybe we will succeed in eradicating them or suppressing them but as a human we will be left with cruelty and inhumanity within ourselves, which eventually, will harm us.

It’s same as we use pesticides in our fields in order to get rid of fungus from our crop, though we succeed in eliminating them but we left with our poisonous crop which eventually harms our immune.

I feel proud on the religion I belong to. It  is tolerant, unbigoted and liberal by its basic philosophy.  It does not put any restriction or condition to its disciple as how to perform puja, whom to offer prayers. Where almost every creature exists in this nature, are worshiped in some or other form and format.
We don’t follow or at least we are not bound to follow any FATWA issue by any priest. We are free to use our intellect and deliver our opinion about our God in public with no fear of getting beheaded.

Should we downgrade our living to a level where our entire thought process confined to show our religious narrowness? Should be leave past our strong culture of being a savior, a guide and led blindfolded.

As a matter of fact the condition is not as bad as it’s been told and explained by some extremist group.
In India, still a majority of proportion is busy in earning their bread and butter. They hardly have any time to think, as which religion they belong to.
It’s some hate monger or people with their own vested interest, trying to propagate such feeling among the society and create a chaos. It’s purely for their personal gain.

This is high time, when one has to be very careful and attentive. Use your own intellect and pause for some time and think before you press SHARE button on any such post or tweets which create division among people.

With this thought, I leave this page for you to think further.

… By अभिषेक
